Proper Identification begins the process of control!

In Process Equipment Identified as:

Critical- Immediate affects on production by failure.

Active- In Operation by not critical

Idle- Not currently in use but mounted to process equipment

Spare Equipment is:

  • Sorted and compared to process inventory.

  • Looked over to identify areas of excess and shortage.

  • looked over to identify obsolete equipment no longer used in current process.

#1    ASSIGN DESIGNATED CUSTOMER PERSONNEL TO ACCURATELY MAINTAIN PHYSICAL INVENTORY AND COMPUTER DATABASE.

#2    ASSIGN VENDOR TO ACCURATELY MAINTAIN PHYSICAL INVENTORY AND COMPUTER DATABASE (POSSIBLY OFFSITE).

  •  FAMILIAR WITH INDUSTRIES.

  •  PERSONNEL AND RESOURCES READILY AVAILABLE

  • DIRECT ACCOUNTABILITY.

  •  FAMILIAR WITH  CROSS APPLICATIONS.
